Fumie Hosokawa (also known as fumin) is often referred to as the “original” kyonyu (huge breasts) idol.
Fumie was born in Tanabe, Aomori prefecture on September 2, 1971. At age 4 she moved to Hawaii to attend school. She started posing for magazines in December 1990 as a bikini model. Soon afterwards she started singing and acting, appearing in numerous films while cutting back on her modeling. She released a couple of gravure DVDs in 2006, and retired from show business in early 2008 after giving birth to her first child in December 2007.
